L-O-V-E

It's been eight months since I don't sit and write my soul off. Things simply are not the same. They are not. It's a different road, a different walk and a different vision. I am simply not the same person I was from a year ago.

In short:

I met a man, I fell madly in love and I married the man.

I went to an interview got the job and I will get to travel all around the world.

After a year in the hospital recuperating and healing my father just recently got his leg prosthesis.

My mother is happy and (has no idea but I will soon be taking her away with me).

I feel happy, I feel blessed. But three maybe two years ago my life felt as if it were under an obscure path. A path full of thorns and evil goblins who lurk from every corner or just every office space. Now all that has passed and all I can see is light, beautiful shinning light illuminating my path and those around me. Things are finally falling into place. I guess Love really does conquer all and it does change one's surroundings. It does make everything seem right, neater, and bright. I do all I can to plant the seeds of love in my husband's heart and in the heart of all of those people who I come in contact with. I know one of the reasons I am here is to serve others by helping them heal. But how do I do that? It's a simple answer, one you might even expect. I help people feel at ease, I listen, I care and I simply love. I love everyone around me. Isn't that the best way you can help others? let them feel the Love.

Dream, dream, dream

And like the Everly Brothers song goes: "All I have to do is dream". Yeah, we all wish it were that simple: dream and it shall be done. I believe:
"los sueños son las semillas de la realidad"
in English:
"dreams are the seedlings of reality"
What we dream extends from the spiritual realm into the physical realm. Because what we have in our minds was put there by a Divine Energy, a Force, God, you can name it as you wish it's all the same. The One. And yet everyday we wake up and set out to live a lifeless life, we go out to work, come back home, eat, sleep, and the next day we do exactly the same thing. Where are our God given dreams in all this? Is that what we are supposed to be doing?
I believe each one of us is here on a mission that is intended to make our lives happier, our days brighter, and other people as well. Don't you dream of a better life? a brighter future? loving to wake up and start your day? instead of waking up thinking: one more day at this place, I can't take it, I still have 5 more months 'till my next vacation!
I think we're not suppose to live that way, thinking about the what if's, thinking how it would have been or should have been. If we are the makers of our own destiny: have we forsaken ourselves? have we tricked ourselves into believing there is nothing more to aspire to? I had a group of friends once who made me remember that we can dream, dream BIG, and do what is in our power to make those dreams a reality by finding a way to prosper in our lives. And by prospering I'm talking about the material sense, because we can prosper mentally and spiritually but the material world also has to go hand in hand with them or else how can we be happy if we have nothing to eat, can't pay our bills and can't even go out to the movies. Everything has to be in sync. We have to look for ways that we can prosper, be happy, and feel whole.
Can you stop at least for 15 seconds today to ask yourself: do I feel whole? complete? happy? joyful? relax? are you doing what you always wanted? are you living prosperity?

Then what can I do to help you? What can I do to help you understand that you need to make the first step?

Remember life is about making choices, taking risks and more importantly, about evolution.

Orphan Annie or Orphan Blame

The other day my good friend J. told me
"blame is always an orphan"
or in Spanish:
"la culpa siempre es huérfana".
He left me speechless. And you know what, he's right. We always want to blame someone, something or everyone except ourselves. We think, we choose, decide, act, and still when something goes wrong we cry and whine and blame. Why is it so hard to accept blame for our wrongdoings, our mishaps and our terrible decisions. Life is about experiences. It's about falling, about standing, about helping others and ourselves, about lifting and empowering others and ourselves. Life is simple and yet we insist in so many irrational complications.
Who do you blame on a daily basis? Your boss? Your husband, Your parents? God? Why don't you blame yourself? Why stop blaming altogether and start accepting, start acting upon the fact that you need to acknowledge the facts that surround us. We need to purposefully lead our lives into a brighter way of living. Not just living but concsiously and purposefully living. But how do we go about doing this, it's always easier said than done. I believe in taking baby steps, living one day at a time, I always like to read the Bible from time to time because it has so many teachings and there is always one in particular that comes to mind:
Matthew 6 34
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble

So just chill out and relax. Take the day as it comes. I trust we can do that: one day at a time.

Yesterday...

Yesterday was a pretty intense day, you know just one of those days were everything seems to be out of balance. The day actually started off as a perfect day but suddenly the energy shifted and it all just came out of whack. I went and bought my dog, Precioso's food and I got charged double didn't notice until I had left the store so I had to go back, I bought something on the web for $29 and suddenly got a charge of $178.00, I went to get lunch and they were out of falafel, which I totally love, so I ordered a pasha salmon in grape leaves instead and 30 minutes later I threw up and finally but not least I left a 6 refill prescription for my mom at the pharmacy and they filled out the order for no future prescriptions. I called at 8:45pm and nobody picked up. I mean I really was about to cry but suddenly I thought to myself: this day is almost over and you don't have to do everything today so just relax. There are just some things that you have no control over. I trusted each one of the people I made business with and they made a mistake and I made a mistake because I wasn't paying attention. So I went and took a hot shower, and I mean a pipping hot shower and it was so soothing it was just what I needed. I went to bed and as I was falling asleep my friend J. called me I told him all the things I had been through during the day and he just said in Spanish: "no cojas lucha", which means "stop fighting it" and I did. I woke up relieved, it's a new day, a new beginning and all I can say is that was all yesterday.

I know I'm always writing about how to live a positive life and how great life is but I want you to know I'm normal, just like you. I have my ups and downs and I make mistakes but the decisions I make I try to do them as consciously as I can, knowing that for every cause there is an effect. I live with intent and I live with passion. I love to be able to wake up revitalized knowing I have 24 more hours ahead of me, 24 hours to make my dreams come true!!

Have a GREAT DAY guys!!
